Childhood Cancer Policy Roundtable, part III
In 2015, the Alliance for Childhood Cancer convened a Policy Roundtable in collaboration with the larger childhood cancer community and the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer. This Roundtable is an opportunity for patient advocates, health providers, caregivers, and other interested groups to discuss their childhood cancer organizational goals in the public policy/regulatory arena specifically with respect to childhood cancer. The objective is to determine whether there are areas of consensus focusing on the known barriers and concrete solutions, and whether there is an interest in pursuing some level of joint advocacy going forward. This Roundtable process has convened several workgroups and continues to work through a common agenda when possible.
