Faces of Childhood Cancer Project
Calling all childhood cancer families! As members of the childhood cancer community, we want our legislators to recognize that childhood cancer goes beyond statistics by showing them the faces of our children. Our children are more than just the cancer they experience. We have created the Faces of Childhood Cancer Project to share their stories with legislators at upcoming advocacy meetings on Capitol Hill. It’s a fun and meaningful activity that you can do from home!

What to Know Before You Go
Please join us for a webinar, “What to Know Before You Go” on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:00pm eastern. It’s time to think about how to get your message across effectively to Capitol Hill. In this webinar, we'll go over the details on how meetings are being scheduled as well as a few specific "homework" assignments that will help you hone your message, understand your audience, use social media effectively and get a sense of what is happening on Capitol Hill (it's entertaining, we promise). Participants will come away from the session with a practical preparation plan. Whether you've attended the Action Days in the past or not, this is the session for you.
If you are unavailable, the webinar will be posted here on the Alliance website soon after. The dial-in information is below. Please click the “Join Webex” link on your computer and then use your cell phone or land line to dial the toll-free number below. When asked, please enter the access code highlighted in yellow followed by the pound sign (#).
